Somatic, Intuitive, Embodied, Conscious Movement
Come as you are. Move how you feel. Return to yourself.
Somatic, intuitive, embodied and conscious movement to bring you back to yourself.
With a nourishing blend of grounding yoga, conscious movement, somatic exploration, free-form dance and breath, we’ll explore what it feels like to move without rules, release tension and reconnect with ourselves. No right way to move, just come as you are.
We’ll begin by grounding into the body and connecting with the breath, allowing movement to build organically as we explore different rhythms, sensations and ways of expressing ourselves. As the session unfolds, we’ll create space for intuitive movement and conscious dance before gradually returning to stillness through rest and gentle reflection.
There’s no choreography to follow, no steps to get right and absolutely no pressure to move in any particular way. Whether you feel called to sway gently, stretch, shake, dance freely or simply lie down and listen, you’re welcome exactly as you are.
This is your space to:
Release tension and reconnect with your body
Explore movement without judgement, performance or expectation
Find freedom in moving intuitively, rather than following instructions
Make space for your emotions, sensations and whatever you arrive carrying
Slow down, breathe and settle into a moment of rest
Connect with yourself and share space with others in a welcoming, non-judgemental environment.

FAQs
-
We’ll begin with gentle grounding and breathwork before moving into a nourishing blend of yoga, somatic exploration, intuitive movement, and conscious dance. Movement will build organically, allowing you to explore different rhythms and sensations at your own pace. We’ll finish with time for rest, stillness, and gentle reflection.
-
Although we’ll be moving our bodies, this isn’t a traditional fitness or dance class. The focus is on exploration, expression, and reconnecting with yourself rather than burning calories, achieving poses, or pushing your limits. Movement can be gentle or energetic, depending on what feels right for you.
-
This session is for anyone who wants to explore a different relationship with movement, reconnect with their body, and make space for themselves. You don’t need to be flexible, fit, coordinated, or confident on a dance floor.
Whether you’re feeling stressed, disconnected, curious, or simply in need of some time for yourself, you’re welcome here.
-
Not at all! This space is open to everyone, whether you’re completely new to movement practices or already enjoy yoga, dance, or somatic work. There’s no choreography to learn, no steps to get right, and absolutely no pressure to perform. Just come as you are.
-
Absolutely not! Freeform movement is about finding what feels right for you, not dancing in any particular way. You might sway, stretch, shake, move freely, or simply lie down and listen to your body. You’re always welcome to adapt the experience to suit your needs.
-
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Layers are a good idea so you can adjust to how you feel throughout the session. You might like to move barefoot or wear grippy socks.
-
Bring some water and anything else that helps you feel comfortable. Mats and props will be provided, so there’s no need to bring your own unless you prefer to.
-
Of course! You don’t need to know anyone or bring a friend. This is a welcoming space where you can arrive exactly as you are, enjoy your own experience, and share space with others without any pressure to socialise.
-
That’s completely normal, especially if you’re used to moving in structured ways or worrying about how you look. There is no right or wrong way to move, and nobody is here to judge you. You can keep your movements small, close your eyes if that feels comfortable, or take a break whenever you need to. This is your experience, and you can approach it in whatever way feels safe for you.
-
That’s absolutely fine. You’re welcome to pause, sit down, lie down, or step outside if you need a moment. Your comfort and boundaries come first, and there is no expectation to participate in every part of the session.
-
Everyone’s experience is different. You might feel relaxed, energised, emotional, grounded, or simply glad you took some time for yourself. There’s no particular feeling you’re supposed to achieve. The invitation is simply to notice what comes up and meet yourself with kindness.
