I’m twenty-eight and I live in Herstmonceux, East Sussex with my partner James and our lovely one year old boy, Atlas. We have a cocker spaniel, a leopard gecko and a green tree frog!

I’m all about caring deeply for my mind, body and soul - prioritising wellness, healing and nourishing myself, living slowly, holistically and intentionally.

Teaching yoga and sharing its gifts truly feels like my soul’s purpose.

When not on the mat, I’m in my running shoes. I’m not a fast runner, but I run because it makes me feel alive. I ran my first ever half marathon in Spring 2026 and I’m so proud.

I also write poetry and literary fiction, enjoy long walks through the countryside with my family and love hiking and travelling. We’ve taken Atlas to nine different countries, one festival, countless race finish lines and we’re planning to walk the whole South Downs Way with him in 2026!

Hi, I’m Elana!

Yoga brought me home to my body.

For much of my life, my relationship with my body was complicated: shaped by anxiety, control, trauma and the feeling that it was something to manage rather than listen to. Yoga offered me a way of rebuilding trust with myself.

Through yoga, I learned that strength doesn’t have to be harsh, discipline doesn’t have to be punishing and movement doesn’t have to be about shrinking or forcing.

Yoga taught me how to feel again, how to notice my emotions, my limits, and my needs. It gave me the strength to survive postpartum after a traumatic birth and guides me daily through motherhood, mental health challenges, change, and growth.

It has become a constant, steady companion in my life and allows me to meet myself exactly where I am. I am so blessed to share its magic with others.
